So, you may have read the post on April 1st and took it as a joke, but the story may have more truth than meets the eye.  After vigorous research, I found information such as this: In 2004 (On April Fools Day) Google announced it's G-mail e-mail services ; people took it as a joke just because of the date.  Rockband was also announced on April Fools Day.  So there is no good reason to believe it is a joke or not.  There you have it, 2011 may see this release of futuristic proportions!

If you are in the Florida area, you are in for a sweet surprise!  A Legoland theme park will be opening soon.  I promise that this is not an April Fools joke (Just look at the post-date!!!).  In other news, Legoland California will be extending into a LEGO-themed water park.  Happy Building, play safe, and don't swallow any bricks!

Yes, you read it right, LEGO is announcing they will team up with the makers of HALO ,Bungie, to make a LEGO HALO themed game.  The game will offer a higher sense of humor to the futuristic world of war, HALO.  The game will be released in the 2011 timeframe.  See the screenshot below and proceed to drool...

I got my hands on these pictures on eurobricks.com

From left to right, Sheik Amar, Ostrich Jockey, and Dastan

Haven't seen the movie yet, but Sheik Amar comes with a double sided face that is scared on one side,  Dastan also has a double sided face, but he's happy one one side and angry on the other.

1. Soak in soapy water.  I use All Free/Clear laundry soap – I figure if it’s good for synthetic fabrics it should be good for plastic bricks.
Picture
2. Transfer to mesh bag and rinse in bathtub.  I had to do this in three batches, I had so many dirty bricks.
Picture
3. Use laundry basket, lined with towel, to carry to living room.
Picture
4. Dump out on towels on living room floor, with fan blowing on them.  Luckily I live in coastal California, so the humidity is low and they actually get dry this way.  I’ll stir them periodically, but they’ll be dry enough to sort and put away in a day or two.

Anyone want to come over and help me sort?  I’ll give you free pizza!

Since Alice in Wonderland is the newest movie that's in 3D, I found this picture!
